It would be interesting to know the weight of the coin. It appears to be double struck both sides (see the northwest star).

That may have flattened (=widened) a 2 kopek host coin. I have never seen any as large as this. To me it does not look false.

It looks more like a novodel except tested on a 5 kopek coin. But again, with regards to novodel, those were struck to customer's orders hence anything could have happened???

The coin does not look genuine to me.

I believe it was "produced" to imitate a Novodel coin but the details lack reality, especially on the reverse.

Those who produced this "masterpiece" were trying to imitate a Novodel coin w/o much knowledge.
