numismatic nut
I was going through mixed bags of world coins. I found among them a 1922 penny from GB. I look in the Krause world catolog, and it only shows a key date for the '22 penny. Are there any non-key dates for the coin?
YeOldeCollector
I'm not sure I understand your question. But there is the normal 1922 penny, the 1922 Specimen finish and the 1922 penny with the reverse of a 1927 penny as well as there being a modified effigy issue of 1922. All but the normal one are very rare. You might have more luck posting this in the relevant section rather than the "World Coin Forum". Sorry that I cannot help further. ScottO
the 1922 penny is very common, the 2nd type is rediculously rare, it has toothed instead of beaded boarders (if its looks like 1921's then its not the rare one)
Art
Interesting. I have quite a few pennies from that timeframe. I've never looked for anything special in the group. Maybe it's time to do a little checking.
