BKB
I would love to see much better condition. I need to check that 1799 em against brekke specimen. The second 9 looks funny. Also, we would need an AM specialist to tell if that denga is truly an AM, and not some monkey business. There are some tale telling differences in the IE, but I would have to admit complete ignorance on that particular subject. Otherwise, some very rare specimens among a lot of common stuff, but most coins are in hideous condition...

STEVE MOULDING
...I need to check that 1799 em against brekke specimen. The second 9 looks funny... I know of three 1799EM polushkas, the Brekke coin, the Prokop coin, and mine. Doubtless there are others. However, the 3 I know all show the same reverse...high 9s and an ill-formed M (in EM). The sixbid reverse is definitely different. Steve

gxseries
Very nice coin lot - lots of bizarre overdates, errors and the best overstruck coins I've ever seen. There are a couple of kopeks overstruck on Swedish ore and this is the clearest example I have seen. The same applies to the 1795 MM 2 kopek overstruck on Moldava para coins. One odd error that puzzled me: http://sixbid.com/nav.php?p=viewlot&sid=171&lot=7076 How on earth can this occur?
BKB
not an error. It is a denga struck on a kopeck of Peter I.
squirrel
well, i think the Peter I kopek was way off center. Then that error was overstruck in the usual way to a Denga.
gxseries
The overstruck coin had to be an error in the first place. What amazes me is how the newly overstruck denga didn't eliminate much of the off struck error - just seems to me that it was overstruck with a Peter I kopek die if you don't look at it carefully. This is the first time I have seen something like this.
