grivna1726
Seller says "The usual price of a coin in e-bay is $6900". He wouldn't be allowed to say that on ebay if it wasn't true, now would he? At least you get free shipping. Oh well, that settles it. I'll take a dozen.

Remet
5 kopeks 1826 was the first year they started making those, they started making 25 kopek ones in 1827. Its a nice coin but the price is very very high. Maybe if it was in rupies instead of dollars i would consider getting it.

squirrel
What is the point of this topic? The link in the first post shows a common, poor grade, russian coin, which is mis-described as being something very rare, and asking thousands of dollars for a coin that can be found easily for about the price of a cheeseburger. I think its funny, and thought others might enjoy a chuckle.

I fully agree. It is equally interesting in this case to go through his list of items for sale. Some are reasonably priced, others are strange at best. A common- date (1969) U.S. quarter dollar, for example, in poor condition is worth about $17 according to this seller. RWJ

one-kuna
I see on Ebay every day Russian coins which are described VERY RARE. So what? not everyday such common junk can be listed for a price of rare TM coin - this is a funny part - I hope you understood a "joke", so a seller is too far for identifying his coins from rare ones'.
