Dan769
One of my good customers walks into the bank and drops a bag with 18 rolls of Wheats her roommate had been saving, on my desk knowing I collect and thought I'd be interested. Why, of course!! What do you want I ask? She says $9, no time to go thru em. I get $9 for her, tell her thanks for thinking of me and she's on her way. Well, tonight I went thru all those rolls and it was the most fun I had with coins in AGES. I'll list a complete date/mintmark total after a contest I'm running. Only about 20-25 coins were damaged beyond keeping, with the deadly green copper scum. i'll toss those back into circulation. Some very nice coins, a 1920 & 1930 in VF+, many of the teens in F or slightly better. A dozen or so 57 & 58's in AU to low MS, some mostly red. dozens of coins from the late 30's on up in VF-XF. I had such a good time with this, I feel coin revitalized.

Dan769
It was fun. And I looked long & hard at the 1914, for any trace of a D mintmark. Again it goes to show that coins like this are out there. If the woman didn't know me, she would've cashed them in at any bank to get the $9.
