New Pricing Structure announced by the mint. This was pulled directly off of the mints website.

 

*Many of our annual sets have grown to include Presidential $1 Coins.

*The cost of the base metals that make up many of our coins has increased significantly over the past

several years.

*Opportunities have been identified to increase customer value by reducing product prices where possible.

 

Below is a list of current product prices, followed by the change from last year's price.

Not bad considering the addition of the dollar coins. If I remember correctly there will be 4 in the proof sets (clad & silver), and 8 in the Unc sets.

I agree. Hopefully the proof versions look really nice. Can't wait to get my sets.

Actually there should be 5 dollar coins included in the proof sets. The 4 president dollas and the new Sac. They also will be included in the silver proof sets, but of course they wont be in minted in silver.

If you take into account how many coins will be in the proof and unc. sets for example, the prices are OK. Of course I hope that I will also see the dollar coins in the wild, but this way I will at least have them in the set. :ninja:
