Given how customizable things are these days, it would seem that it could be something that someone could take on if they already had the facilities.

 The only time I recall someone seeing wearing a coin pendant in the past few months was a guy wearing a heavy gold chain with a Canadian 1976 $100 gold on it.

The bishop's cap and what I can guess of in regards to the legends on the same side would lead me to venture in the direction of a bishopric in the Netherlands perhaps.

Very nice piece! It would appear indeed there there was a different letter punched or engraved there prior to the "X" - it looks like it might be an "H".
Perhaps one of our resident specialists in English coinage may be more familiar.

re: Falklands pound - without seeing the date, I would have guessed that was an 1950s issue from the style and portrait!

The QEII Diamond Jubilee $20 notes haven't circulated much at all - it seems a lot got saved at issue, and they probably make up less than 5% of what's in circulation from what I've seen.

Hello again!

Is it just me, or does that depiction of Fillmore kind of look like William IV?

This note is genuine, but not very rare. Binjiang ("Pinkiang") is the same city as Haerbin (Harbin). In my 12 volume catalog on Chinese emergency notes 1911-1949 the issuer is BIN-0040. The note was printed by Molin printing factory in Binjiang/Haerbin.

Neat!
My local LCS always advises that it's kind of funny that most "Confederate" material is stuff made after the fact for re-unions and the like.

I would have to say that IMO these should be listed in a specialized catalogue since they are virtually almost akin to traveller's cheques.

Interesting! I wonder if they made non-medallic items for retail sale themselves, or if they took work in on contract to others as don't seem to recall having coming across their name in hallmark references, though admittedly, info on maker's marks prior to the late Victorian era tends to be a bit sparse online.

Both are still ongoing.
Current year "non circulating" $1 coins (P or D) are:
32.95 per roll / 25 (31.8% premium over FV)
111.95 per bag / 100 (12% premium over FV)
275.95 per box / 250 (10.4% premium over FV)
e.g.
As for the ATB quarters
You can get a roll of S-Mintmark circulation quarters at $18.95
And 100-coin bags (P, D or S) are $34.95

Quite possibly collectors bought some rolls, and since the premium isn't much, picked out some nice ones and spent the rest.
I have to give credit to the US mint for making the "non-circulation" $1 and halves, and also S-mint quarters, available at a reasonably small premium over face.

Well, they are about the same size, though I've never gotten one.
British 1p, 5p and 10p tend to dominate around here for non-US/non-Canadian coins in circulation.

Congrats! I find the Roman style of these to be very intriguing.

Is the 2nd one brass or is it gilt?

We don't have a clapping emoticon so I'll have to give you a for solving this!
This one proves my theory that they will put anything and anybody on silver art bars
