$1.37 in clad and a Canadian dime.

Standing at the counter paying for my pizza I looked at the "Take a penny' tray and thought....That dime looks really white.... Sure enough...1964D silver Rosey. traded it for one from my pocket.

Picked up my son at school and stopped at the store. CoinStar was empty. An hour later my wife comes home with a handful of coins from the same CoinStar. The take...... PuttPutt token, small key, 7 mem cents. 1 Jeff nickel, 3 Rosey dimes, 3 Canadian cents, 7 Canadian dimes, 3 Canadian quarters and a 1946 Silver Washington quarter! Timing is everything.

As I exited the store tonight a women was using the CoinStar. I could hear coins hitting the reject bin so I stopped at the lottery machine and made a slow decision on a ticket. A coin popped out of the rejects and she looked down and emptied the bin When she left I checked the bin. She missed a nickel and the coin on the floor......a 1954 silver Rosey! I also won $4 on my $2 scratch off ticket I think that's 6 silver Roseys from the CoinStar this year.

Andy still pops in now and then but hasn't posted in some time. Maybe a PM is in order?

I was punching into work over the weekend and one of the guys waiting to punch out that knows I collect says "I have a quarter for you". He hands me a 1941 silver quarter. He got it in his change.

After almost two months of nothin' (maybe a sticky memorial cent or two) this morning I plucked a 1952 silver Rosey out of the CS return.

It would be easier to post links to the old site for each thread.

I read this post days ago and didn't have a quick answer. Never got back to it...sorry. I guess the VCM would be ok for your page pics. Most people put their collections on Omnicoin but that would be alot of time and work. The VCM needs some work as Stujoe tried to import the old posts from the old CP and they came up scrambled with the new software.

Your age brackets seem kinda strange 1-10 & 60-100? 10 year spans, 20 years spans 40 year spans? Also, What could "Other" be in the relationship poll? Just wondering.

The El Salvador 5 centavos has the same weight as the US nickel, 5 grams. I think LD has this right, acid job.
