I got a silver Rosey,1946, in my change and my daughter gave me a Malaysia 1 sen, 2006,she got in her change.

Todays haul 70 cent US and a Canadian cent. nothing good.

Yesterday a clad roosey and Canadian dime. Today Canadian nickel and cent, Clad dime,nickel. 5 memorial cents and a 1920 wheatie.

I agree. Looks like a "Tapped" edge.

Looks fake in my opinion. Look at how crude and uneven in size the letters and numbers are on the reverse.

The $2bill was reissued with the new reverse on April 13th 1976. If you wanted to prove you had a first day issue bill you put a stamp on it and took it to the post office where they would cancel your stamp. Whoever did this one got to the post office late. Yours is a second day of issue. Probably why you found it in circulation.

Took some of my detecting finds to the CoinStar to get a Lowes gift cert. Came home with my $25 cert plus 1976 Canadian quarter, 1920 Wheatie and a1964 2 Pfenning from Germany.
