Maybe its the picture but look at the top of the 5. On one it ends at 90 degrees, the other at 45.

So.... get ready for America the Beautiful Quarter program phase II.

2010 was the inaugural year for the 56-coin series, with minted coins released at a rate of 5 per year through 2020. This totals 55, leaving just one for the year 2021.

However, a stipulation in the America’s Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Act of 2008, which authorized the series, gives the Secretary of the Treasury the authority to extend the program past 2030. The decision must be made by 2018 (year 9 of the original program), and would create a second run of the quarter dollars operated in the same fashion as the first.

So That would take us into 2032.

The State quarters ran 10 years with 1 year for the territories.

The National Parks quarters run 1 issue into 2021. (11.2 years)

They would need to find something to fill in the rest of 2021 or return to the origional design.

I would think just from a cost standpoint there are few collectors. I know if I had the money to spend on gold I would invest in classic US coins.

Just out of curiosity I checked eBay. Graded '64D dimes are about $20 for MS66. There was an MS67 for $59. I suppose if you think your dime were better than those you could take a shot but I totally agree with the replys above.

Got a silver Rosey along with a couple nickels and pennys on Sunday. Last week I got a handful of sticky US and Canadian clad and a big token.

A quick check on the pcgs web site shows the 1880cc in VF40 as a $1200 coin. This is what you could expect to pay if buying one.
