  1. Here are a couple more recent pick ups Copper crackers 16 one ounce bars connected together And with the recent troubles stirring in the world. A don't tread on me round.
  2. Grandson will be 3 on July 4th, even at that age he can say the names of the animls on the coins better than I can
  3. There are a lot of design themes and some are fairly cheap, The two dealers that show uop at the local gun shows here are humping them as the money of the future have some that are 1/4 oz. They claim that after the Zombie apocalypse, People will need copper more than silver or gold for wire and other stuff. I generally get them pissed off afdter buying any that interest me if the price is reasonable. They tend to over price them compared to the LCS or shows. I asked them if they can melt the copper and makit into wire or any other items. Since wire is made to a certain standard as to the electrical properties. Plud it is melted in an oxygen free furnance. Or even if they know anybody that can melt and cast copper. They look at me like I'm have my flying saucer double parked!. They freak when I tell them I do have the equipment to mekt and cast metals.
  4. Yes they do catch the eye, when in the display cases. these I got at the LCS the next batch after these are great I got them for our 2 year old gradson.
  5. More of the recent pickups of the holiday themed bars. most of the reverses are some variation of the above engraveable.
  6. Don't know if it is in the same series, have another os the so called dollars from that fair I will be posting in a couple days.
  7. Speaking of soap, Yesterday while sorting thru stuff in the bathroom storage closet at my mothers house I found these The older members might remember the commericals for both of these soaps in the B&W TV days.
  8. Nope just the teeth marks from a pair of pliers. There were a couple of different stae tokens on the wire, must have been used to keep the holy tokens together
  9. Have no idea why the tokens are on a lead wire seal other than to kept them together since they are mixed states. Same both sides. And for those that may not know the numbers on the tax tokens, are not referring to cents tax. It is referring to mills which are 1/10 of a cent. Since most of these were used in the starting in the 20's/30's people balked at paying full sales tax on small value purchases.
  10. There is a Hemlock Michigan, and I understand I thought the same thing. But attributing them is a winter time unpleasent weather activity!.
  11. That's what I thought or making a copy of some coin fanstay or other wise.
  12. This is an interesting one it appears to be some kind of copy, it does look and feel of silver, But I will have to find my test kit to find out Don't know what it is supposed to be. This one appears to be the encasement ring, as a penny fits but loosely. It looks that the penny was pushed out. I will have to look thru my bookmarks as I think I have that one too.
  13. It is a first for me, getting assorted values from the same place in one buy they are one of a number of nice surprizes. I asked the guy at the LCS if it was made up bag or as is he said as is.
