  1. Yes and if you look at the cartoon on this nickle, I sure that it might be considered racist today, by the ethnic peopls of the Indian sub continent region today. As the metro Detroit area mostly on the west side of the tri counties. Have a large presence of that areas ethinic groups and religous afflilitions.
  2. An Adams magic coin which was used in the multiplying coin tricks, they were cheaper for the magi to have a lot of them on hand than actual coins. plus they were less appealing to theft. They ca=me in .40 and dollar coin sizes. A lucky penny key ring.
  3. Yep don't sneeze if you are looking at tghem on a table and they aren't in holders, or if you have kitties. They do like shinning things and they will disappear.

  5. Looks to be the start of rolling a coin for a ring, they couldn't have picked a harder material coin to work on! Nice small charm in sterling, river boats being a minor interest of mine so it was another bonus find in the swap.

Yes I'm aware of the button collectors but only of the old hand made types and carved ones out of ivory,bone, whale teeth, jet, and other mineral organic items. but that is a job for winter. right now I still am under a list of things that need doing outside before the snow hits!   8. This next group are the last batch of the bulk penny swap. In the total off everything that was in the swap. I am a very happy swapper! But some of what ends up in an exonumia collectors boxes is differently interesting. Buttons probably from metal detecting. The next two is older from the design and loop back. A very well worn token even under magnification, nothing could be made out.

  11. Pewter medal Another pewter medal slight damage both sides, I have a bronze version that I have posted in the past.
  12. Since it is less than a 15 on the photo grading scale they have listed. Being you are into those types. What would you think the value would be, since I have no Idea what the grade would be? as the prices in dollars seem to be out of this world.
