Last night searching through $60 in rolled cents I found a German 5 pfennig from 1981.
It's a nice souvenir, and you can still exchange for euros. I did that many years ago with my Franc coins.

Her Majesty is also my 8 year old daughter.
You fooled me very good! I thought that it was Queen Elizabeth that took it because you madie it appear serious.

Muchas gracias Jazinta. Thank you very much Jazinta. I usually read a lot your posts on the topics " of my last banknote and French print Banknotes). The next topic of French africaoccidental blog will be a little different. There will not be about identifying people. I think it will be very interesting. I hope soon to have the item ready. Thank you all!

Look forward to it
Yes, it the nicest American note of now.

She or her people have their ways.
It's hard to understand it, how did they know, and could you say no to them?
-
But how could she take it, if it is yours.

Es muy interessante tu sitio web. Y tus billetes son muy bellos.

I have found them in dime rolls, but they also end up in the reject tray of the coin machine at the bank. The most valuable coin exchange wise that I have gotten a couple of from the reject tray are the Latvian 1 Lats coins that are worth $1.80 each.
Once I was in vacation in Spain, and my little brother discovered 10 Kuwait dinars in the room, and in that time it was $36.

It was appropriated, and I was NOT reimbursed.
Why? Is it illegal to have it?

I haven't gotten any really old Swiss coins in change, but I find the 20 rappen and half franc coins in change in the USA occasionally as 5 cent and 10 cent coins.
Really? I never get Swiss coins here. But you're lucky, because 1/2 franc is a lot more than 10 cents.

Yes, nothing works.

It has the new Ruppe symbol. But how much is it worth?
-
Which country this coin belongs . Please reply
It's a Japanese 10 yen.

I couldn't stop myself laughing.

It's very hard to get one of those, because now it's in brass since the early 1990s. But you can still get one.
-
To Her Majesty? Was it taken or did you sell it.

THis is very dificult, both are very cool. Probalby I will chose the Russian kopeks, it has nicer desing,

I am beside myself ( :swoon: ) with questions on this one. They are all beautiful. They are all coins that I'd love to own. They are all superb examples of their series and numismatic design. Oh my! What to do? What to do?
Vote for what interests you more. I was going to vote for the shilling, becuase of the excellent con condition, but the silver dollar is just so nice (and I like modern silvers).

The French token just has a nicer color, and it's more unique.
-
I got a 1936 cent (tho aparently it's supposed to be rounding now). Sadly it's not the rare dot variety, so only it's worth 1 cent.
-
Wow, this really is the first paper money of all time. How could you get it?

In a similar topic, what do you guys think about those specialized silver coin cleaners?
Once I tried a specialized silver claner and the coins were ok, but not super clean. I tried also a basic silver cleaner of my uncle on a cheap silver coin and it did clean, but it became a little yellow.
-
Don't clean at all, especially if it is a valuable coin. When I was little I would clean cents with soap and water, and even ketchup, but it didn't do anything.

Voted for Honest Abe, such a nice coin.

This is a decent picture. On the crown they made him terrible.
