Nice type set!

Dimes are just about my favorite US type coin. It's amazing the amount of artistry that could be captured on such a small palette. My absolute favorite dime is the Mercury dime... what a gorgeous design, and the symbolism is pure America.

I still haven't obtained any examples of a common-date Bust Dime for my type collection yet. That's one type I'd like to get this year.

  • 10 months later...

Added this piece from the Baltimore show - a 1996-W Roosie. These 'W' dimes were issued to commemorate the 50th anniversery of the Roosevelt dime and I have wanted one for a long time. Struck at the West Point mint. I'm not sure if there are any other "W" mint mark coins (I know UNC SAEs are made at West Point - right?). In any event, these were included in the 1996 mint set (along with a 'P' and 'D' dime).

It was a humbling experience photgraphing this coin - this is the best I could do.
