And I wonder how many times something like that happens. Wasn't the US "Ocean in View" nickel design also based on some photo, and the photographer got credit only after, well, complaining to the mint? It sure is not always easy to draw a clear line between being inspired by some photo (nothing wrong with that, of course) and using it without contacting the creator or copyright owner ...
