cpterplt
Hello Everyone, I was hoping i could get a second opinion on this 1972 lincoln penny. It seems to have some doubling on the obverse side where it reads, In God We Trust.I'm fairly new to coin collecting and would appreciate a second opinion whether i'm seeing double or not. Thanks, Fernando
Art
Certainly looks like doubling to me. Can't wait to see what the error folks have to say. Nice coin...
drwstr123
It appears to me as a FS#1-033.58. DDO(8-0-1) You can check it on "coppercoins.com" Mike
BiggAndyy
I agree, an FS1. I got $25 for the last one I auctioned on ebay, but that was a couple of years ago now. I haven't found a '72 DDO in circulation for a while. I have been getting lots of Wheaties lately, even FOUND one (a '45 D) in a supermarket parking lot.
