Its an 1892 and an 1894 which I needed for my attempted date run.I've got a 1878 9 total chops and a Gin left countermark on the way I'll post it upon its arrival.these 2 have chops but they are not too bent and there is still alot of design left.

Just came yesterday.A 1878 Japan 1 yen.The clear round chop is a counterstamp applied in 1897 demonitizing the coin.It is the character "gin" meaning silver meaning the coin be treated as bullion. The "gin" on the right side signifies the countermarking was done at Tokyo. The dealer I purchased this from grades it Bold VF 1obv,8 rev chops. With the countermark in VF it cats $350 in my well worn 96 Krause.I paid $99 and feel good about my acquisition.
