Ian
This one is a fairly scarce (and original) bronze medal issued by Frederick The Great of Prussia subsequent to his defeat of the Austrian army at Prague in 1757 at the start of the seven year war. Unfortunately, I do not know who the artist was. If anyone has any data on that I'd certainly appreciate it. The obverse shows a military profile of Mad Freddy. The reverse shows winged victory declaring victory for Frederick wuith Maria Theresa the Austrian Empress as suppliant. I've not seen many of these, but I did see one which had been gilded (badly) with an added loop mounting sell for £340.

Art
Nice medal. They did get a little violent in their depictions but I really enjoy looking at these great pieces of art.
