qualified_coinnut
Although I can't post a pic, I have a lincoln cent that has the full reverse, but is completely missing the obverse. Is this possible, or just another novelty item. Also looking for a value, it's in descent shape, but has been circulated. Thanks, Franz
ccg
If it's a copper issue, sounds like someone planed off the obverse.
qualified_coinnut
It is a copper issue, the obverse is silver coloured as well. If it was done, it was a pretty good job. Thanks
Conder101
It is possible but EXTREMELY unlikely. And s NOT possible for having the copper on one side silve on the other that you describe for your coin. It sonds like you have a copper plated zinc cent with the obverse planed off exposing the zinc underneath. If it had been a genuine one sided copper plated zinc cent ot bronze cent, both sides would have been the same color.
