extant4cell
Interesting topic started on Russian sister forum. Here are some examples: Persian coin on 2 k. French coin on 2 kop, possibly СПБ-МК 1811. Looks like a trophy coin, brought from Russia... From Solid. From 2 ORE. And another one: That can be found only on 1 and 2 kopecks of Elizabeth produced by Sestroretsk mint. The way of telling if the coins has been made by CM: Original topics are here: http://coins.su/forum/index.php?showtopic=152542&do=findComment&comment=1658410 http://coins.su/forum/index.php?showtopic=115274&p=1650832
squirrel
I like those kopecks on Swedish copper I found this one on ebay a long time ago.......
extant4cell
I have one kopeck overstrike similar to yours, but I am still looking for the 2 kopecks with signs of 2 ORE. They pressed them a lot firmer and they hardly ever display the left-over image.
alexbq2
There was that French essay struck on an Alexander 1st style 2 kopecks. I recall there was quite a scandal around it. I believe WCO was selling it and Vasiliy Kapustin (MiM) hated it. There should be an old thread here as well as on every other Russian coin forum. gxseries
This reminds me of this "coin" mentioned here a while ago. http://www.ma-shops.com/fenzl/item.php5?id=2698&lang=en The only other type that may be related is Latvia phone token overstruck over Soviet 15 kopek. I'm sure you would have seen my other overstruck coins such as 1757 1 k over Swedish 1 ore and 1795 / 88 MM 2 k over 1773 2 para - 3 kopek
Loyal Citizen
Yes, I remember getting into a racy discussion on Russian forum for starting a topic about French pattern strikes on Russian 2 kopecks of Alexander I. Even some Coin People members threw stones at me and WCO for that - I will attach the link later. Here is what I have left:
