BKB
I did not. Otherwise, it would be more significant :-)
alexbq2
I did not. Otherwise, it would be more significant :-) At any rate if you don't want that 2 kop 1839 CM, we can arrange some sort of a swap.
BKB
That is my only 2k39. I got a duplicate 2k42, but it is not pretty.
alexbq2
The 2 kop is the only 1839 copper that I'm currently missing. On the other hand a have a spare 1839 1 kop, if anyone wants one.
bobh
I bid on lots 474, 475 and 476. I won lot 475 (gold 5 roubles 1910). Although I was quite happy to win just one coin which was ex-Julian, I really wanted to have lot 474 (the 1906 silver 50 kopecks).
BKB
From Nicholas I bid on 1901 20 kop. While I thought I bid pretty solid, I was not even close...
kopeikin
I won 3/4 ROUBLE 1833 ng and poltina 1846.
BKB
they look very nice in the catalog
IgorS
I did not get anything from Bob Julian's section . But, I won one coin from the other section. There were some nice Catherine I roubles there. The one I won is not a beauty, but for the type it is one of the better ones I've seen - САМОДЕРИЦА. It is not screwed with, has good original surfaces and a nice toning.
IgorS
But, it was not cheap.
BKB
much, MUCH better than it looked in the catalog. good catch!!! :-)

BKB
you should start showing what you got -- this way other people can enjoy it too

alexbq2
you should start showing what you got -- this way other people can enjoy it too I would like to extend that request to other forum members, and that includes BKB and IgorS. BKB
Speaking for myself and IgorS, I do not think we can be accused of not showing :-)
alexbq2
Speaking for myself and IgorS, I do not think we can be accused of not showing :-) As I was repeatedly told in school - "There is always room for improvement!".
IgorS
There has to be a reason to show a coin. In this case we are discussing WWCC auction, so I showed what I acquired. Hard to do it out of context.
bobh
I would like to extend that request to other forum members, and that includes BKB and IgorS. I cannot take pictures of the coin I won until I travel to the USA again, pick it up, and take it back home to Switzerland. But the catalog picture of lot 475 is very nice! BKB
I refuse to believe that everything went to Russia. Hopefully purchased by westerners who are not forum members. I also won that ugly old yefimok, but, I do not know if you guys are interested in that type of coins... Anyway, if you want, I will post it when I get home.
