BKB
Are they blind, or is it a fake slab? http://www.ebay.com/...=item232581d859
STEVE MOULDING
Both? No, slab is real...the graders are out to lunch.
BKB
If it is a fake slab, who is "they" then?!
bobh
Both The slab seems to check out here: http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/26144446/ They even have a picture of the coin, and you can see that it is the same coin as in the eBay auction. But I wonder what the chances are of that particular "corrosion pattern" (looking like "M") occurring naturally?
IgorS
on both sides.
BKB
So, the slab is real... What the hell is the matter with these experts?!
IgorS
Not the first time I see fake TM slabed with magic words "environmental damage"
sigistenz
So, the slab is real... What the hell is the matter with these experts?! They created a market and make money selling their wrappers. Sigi -
squirrel
I do not know the ins and outs of the grading business. Is there some sort of insurance or backbone behind the opinions of the obviously fallible experts who entomb such a joke of a fake in a plastic box with an "official" pedigree? a fake is a fake. IgorS
There is insurance, but now it is pretty low for Russian and Chinese coins (new slabs). Plus you have to prove your case.

BKB
very easy to prove your case here -- this thing is not even remotely similar...
extant4cell
So, the slab is real... What the hell is the matter with these experts?! I couldn't believe my eyes!... I've sent my offer, hope it will be accepted... They created a market and make money selling their wrappers. Sigi Should make our own grading company should call it DIY-CG (do it yourself coin grading). Buyer e-mails a picture and measurements of the coin to you on e-mail and their own grading version, you send them an empty slab for the coin. horse like sivka-burka коник без ногы... lol
