Corina
Well I Bought This 1831 Portgual 40 reis For $6.00 The value of This Coin Is $17.00 But The Funny Thing is that This Coin has 4 Major Errors on it Die Crack Rotated Die Metal Alignment (Both Front And back Face the Same Way) Double Die on The 0 On The 40 Now Considering All these Errors Would the Coins Value Go Up Or Down? Any Help Would be Nice
bobbycoin
I think that depends on who you are talking to Colin. Error collectors would tell you that the price goes up. Collectors of graded "perfect" coins would tell you it was trash. IMO. -Bobby
Conder101
Well a die crack is not a major error, I don't know what if the pieces should have coin or medal orientation, if it is Medalthen the dies are not rotated, and without seeing it I can't say if it has a doubled die or not. If it is on one digi then it is probably just a repunched digit. In short it is quite possibly typical for the issue.
