if this is an error coin only (I think it is), two hundreds was a little much to my opinion;

may be someone was mistaken it with Paul I overstrike ?

besides triple struck and die clash looking like large E from cipher series I was not able to find any other details, also due to very blury picture

As far as hoping it's a Paul overstrike..besides there being no traces of a cipher undercoin, it's the wrong eagle. Just looks like a messy regular issue to me.

I concur with Steve. No Paul restriking traces were visible. I studies this one pretty well.

The coin intrigued me as well. I think it is a double or triple strike with the same dies, including a die clash.

Unusual but in my opinion does not justify a markup. Sigi
