Seems that coin was part of a series depicting old/historical professions: http://regiowiki.pnp.de/index.php/Bild:Notgeld.jpg That image shows four from the series ... top left: your lumberjack, with an ax and a saw top right: two workers sawing a trunk bottom right: a carpenter or joiner bottom left: a glass blower The latter is also what Zwiesel is known for today - production of decorative and technical glass. It has a lot more information on the town than US wiki...I could tell from the towns website its all about glass in that town (and walking in the woods) I guess I will have to search out the rest of that series...I like!!
