numismatic nut
I bought a 1921-D mrgan yesterday. It was from a dealer who prices coins by his gut feeling. Now this morgan was an impulse buy because it was $14. Looked nice too. I got it home and welcomed a AU-55 morgan into the collection. Today, I was tinkering with my Christmas present (a 20x microscope) and saw die cracks. I made a quick run to vam world, and I found an almost perfect match (this coin probaly an earlyer die state). I now have a VAM-1H! The moral of the story is: the best time to buy a coin is when you see it!

Mark Stilson
I like the "thrill" of vams. You see something odd or something you know makes it a vam, but not sure if its a major. ( I really should learn the big buck ones. But I guess lazy.) Then trying to chase it down and confirm it.

numismatic nut
Right now my USB ports are broken. But my mom's brothers and sisters got her a new digital camera. But as soon as the computer gets fixed (or I pull a magic trick with windows skydive) you will have a pic. Here are some picks from vamworld. http://www.vamworld.com/1921-D+VAM-1H
