Here is a seemingly average Peter wire - no date visible. Average value $3 to $7 IMHO.

 

But this one is in a slab:

And behold the price is already over $40

 

Now, I did not bother checking it in any catalog, but my gut tells me that there's nothing special about this specimen - apart from the slab!

So? He still managed to sell a 4 dollar coin for 40!

 

This completely settles the debate of slab worthiness! At least on eBay resale level. So get your slabbing kits and Get Real Paid!!! :ninja:

 

And NNC does exist, and they do have these cheap looking slabs. I don't think they are any good though.

This one, i am convinced, is another.... $400 coin +$900 worth of plastic. Im pretty sure ive seen quite a few more as nice or better....

Isn't MS-64 supposed to mean (at least) "uncirculated"? I think I see a bit of rub on the crown ... nice coin, but I sometimes wonder if they pull grades like this out of a hat?
