De Orc Posted November 11, 2007 Report Share Posted November 11, 2007 Well I have just started to list my Farthings on Omnicoin, for those of you who dont understand the old British system a Farthing was 1/4 of 1 penny and was symbolised like this 1/2d 1672 1/4d Farthing Seated Britannia King Charles II I have tried to lighten the image on this first one to bring out the date, it can be seen quite well in hand but not so well when scanned 1700 1/4d Farthing Seated Britannia King William III 1747 1/4d Farthing Seated Britannia King George II 1754 1/4d Farthing Seated Britannia King George II 1773 1/4d Farthing Seated Britannia King George III 1799 1/4d Farthing Soho mint Birmingham Seated Britannia King George III 1806 1/4d Farthing Soho mint Birmingham Seated Britannia King George II I shall be adding more over the next few days Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
