28Plain
I just stumbled upon a nice collection online while looking for examples of Gothic Crowns. This is the Victoria museum collection in Australia, and there are some nice examples of American gold there as well: http://www.museum.vic.gov.au/coins/1851/gothic_crown.html You may navigate by the years at the top and by the side menu of images of coins and medals. Scottishmoney
Very interesting, but unfortunately, someone at some point in time harshly cleaned several of the coins, particularly the 1853 San Francisco $20 piece. The Gothic Crown is looking wiped at some point too.

The Victorian Coronation Medal is also one I'd love to have. Mild damage doesn't put me off. I'm not a wealthy enough collector to be too discriminating.
