Obverse: Wilhelm II half-length portrait right, in armor (per Renaissance medal by Deschler of Georg Tetzel the Elder) with sword and scroll. WILHELM II German Kaiser along rim. Reverse: Victory marching with German eagle left. Leipzig, Capital of Saxony, was the site of the Battle of Nations on 18 October, 1813. Side note: Leipzig would most probably not mind being the capital and is actually Saxony's biggest city. But the state capital was and is Dresden ...
