Set of small sized (about the size of a half dollar or so) bronze presidential medals made by the US mint. Have 36, all but one in the mint plastic packaging, starting at Washington...lots of neat designs. I believe that the earliest were used as peace medals and have the same reverse as the peace medal nickel. They still sell the same medals at mint link for $2.75 each. Medal about the size of a hard times token with General Winfield Scott on one side and some of the famous battles that he was in on the other. I have included a link to an ebay auction of a similar one as I still have my photography equipment packed away due to a remodeling project. Most of the information that I have found identifies the piece as a campaign medal for Winfield Scott's unsuccesful run at the US presidency under the Whig party in 1852. The large cent is beautiful. The Wisconsin Commemorative is one of the harder ones to find with nice toning IMHO.
