  1. Recently picked up this overstrike. Not sure what to do with it, anyone interested?
  2. Could also be a direct overstrike of a 5 kopecks that were re-edged to become 10 kopecks, but never did. Hard to tell without traces.
  3. I don't think I've ever seen a full brockage of the 5 kopecks. Are there known examples?
  4. We were just talking about these on page 9!
  5. I'm the one who bid 477 on it. Would have been more but i won this lot earlier that day.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=301645374156
  6. I'm glad we got IgorS to open up! Thanks for showing these amazing coins!!! IMHO, the 1761 is very good for the type. I have this one:
  7. Coins go in and out of fashion, and there's always a luck factor when buying or selling. I noticed that there isn't much demand for the Wings Down copper 10 kopecks from CM, even though there isn't much supply of them either. Speaking off:
  8. Enviable! My strategy involves limiting myself from collecting everything, I cannot even fathom having a narrow focus. For the A1 minors do you mean only the 10/25/50 kopeck pieces? That's very ambitious!
  9. I didn't know you collected copper! I thought you were into crown sized silver and medals. Do you recall how much you sold it for? I picked it up for $250 + shipping.
  10. I use the little picture icon "Image", if you activate it it will let you add the image link and will display it as a picture.
  11. Check here: http://www.m-dv.ru/monety-rossii-1700-1917/kid,21/mid,5/nid,22/types.html
  12. Finally got a descent KM piatak:
  13. Hard to tell with blurry pictures. There is something under Nicholas' nose that shouldn't be there.
  14. There are strangely misaligned traces of a die clash right above the line. The line seems to follow the banner, is it the empty space between the bottom of the banner and the edge of the die?
  15. That's a beautiful coin. Congrats on the sale!
  16. Thanks! I missed it somehow. So it sold for 180000 roubles! What is that $5500?
  17. Which auction and lot numbers?
  18. That's great! Thanks for the info!!! Where did you find the information?
