You won't get rich as most of them had so many minted they will range in price from .25 too a couple of bucks. but they do hold a lot of history. Unfortanately for my the bus company in Detroit used cash only and paper transfers when I was riding the bus to school and we hard bus pass cards.

Yes these were a find as the BSA one is one from Michigan, and the local BS didn't have the money to do the metal tokens.

Yes, they are in the heat sealed pouches, I will be breaking them out and putting them in the art bar sleeves. but they both the Indian head and buffalo are very finely rendered . they match the rounds with the same designs from a while ago.

Picked up on Friday 5 buffalo's Picked up 10 of the 12, only was blinded by the beauty and got two duplicates.

Yes the heated ultra sonic cleaner does wonders with my secret sauce. Simple green with a little water. that is what is great about transit tokens washing/cleaning them doesn't lower the value!

So far I haven't been quick enough to make a profit. I am happy to continue to buy as long as his premiums aren't to much over spot. I figure that they will go up over the long term and the grandson (3 on the 4th of July) might find use for them. If they were the drop box style it was the noise of it dropping that told the driver you paid. So they most likely would have.

I have one other that I have posted before We had paper ones and then a paper bus card from the school which had a reduced rate. back in the 60's They still have the buss passes.
