tabbs
Same here. (Well, almost.) Once in a while I use(d) such thumbnails, just because it is easier to attach an image to a message than if I had to upload it to an album or website. But considering the alternatives, I would not mind seeing them go. Christian
Art
Here is where we stand with attachments right now: The ISP is not willing to make any changes to the server configuration and they suggest we upgrade to a newer version of the software which fixes the problem. If we upgrade, we will lose "Retro" and other important customizations I implemented over time. I'm looking into two possible resolutions: 1. Moving to a different ISP, keeping the same software and re-doing all customizations. 2. Moving to a different ISP and using different software. In both cases, I see a BIG PRUNING coming. The alternative is to stay with the current software version and disable attachments. PRUNING! Did he say PRUNING!!!! AAAAGH!!!
Guest Stujoe
A little pruning never hurt anyone. If the new software is template based, I figure I could rebuild Retro again with the proper priveledges. Of course, not for a while do to my current situation. I have never used the attachments myself.

Trantor_3
seems to be solved now, and apaprently without pruning At least, my post count is still intact......
tabbs
seems to be solved now, and apaprently without pruning As far as I can tell, CP just started using a new IPB version (see the "Big Upgrade" notice that Anton posted). And yes, thumbnails now work again. Hooray. Christian
