Attaching thumbnails ...

Recommended Posts

Same here. (Well, almost.) Once in a while I use(d) such thumbnails, just because it is easier to attach an image to a message than if I had to upload it to an album or website. But considering the alternatives, I would not mind seeing them go.

Here is where we stand with attachments right now:

The ISP is not willing to make any changes to the server configuration and they suggest we upgrade to a newer version of the software which fixes the problem. If we upgrade, we will lose "Retro" and other important customizations I implemented over time.

I'm looking into two possible resolutions:

1. Moving to a different ISP, keeping the same software and re-doing all customizations.

2. Moving to a different ISP and using different software.

In both cases, I see a BIG PRUNING coming.  :ninja:

The alternative is to stay with the current software version and disable attachments.

PRUNING! Did he say PRUNING!!!! AAAAGH!!!

A little pruning never hurt anyone. :ninja: If the new software is template based, I figure I could rebuild Retro again with the proper priveledges. Of course, not for a while do to my current situation. I have never used the attachments myself.
