Mortyr2012
In the year 2005 Monaco sold a little Proof Set. This Proof Set contained the 1 Cent, 2 Cent and the 5 Cent Coin. The coins were directly issued by the mint for 40,00€ + 4€ (Shipping). Here a photo of the Proof Set!

JamminJ
Quite attractive! I understand Euro coinage from the smallish countries of the European Union is quite sought after. E40 sounds like a pretty good deal.
tabbs
I understand Euro coinage from the smallish countries of the European Union is quite sought after. E40 sounds like a pretty good deal. Seems that Monaco's Numismatic Office sells these pieces at two different prices. The previously registered customers pay €40, the (few) others can buy that mini-set at €70. Much money for a total face value of €0.08 ... (BTW, Monaco is not a member of the European Union, but is in Euroland due its ties to France. The same applies to San Marino and the Vatican, with regard to Italy.) Christian
