retailguy
Hello all. I'm not really an avid collector, but have had an interest for many years. The other day when I opened up a box of dimes from the bank there was one roll which looked kind of unusual. Turns out it was a sealed roll of 1965 dimes. I unrolled one end to pull a dime out. The end dimes were obviously tarnished, but the other 48 appear to be in mint condition. I believe they are uncirculated. Do you think this has any value or nothing more than your typical circulated silver coins? Thanks for any opinions.
Burks
If they are uncirculated, they should have a pretty nice value attached.
ccg
1965- unfortunately, they're common and would be bought by a dealer as scrap. (They technically have some catalogue value, but you'd probably spend your whole life selling them one by one with little success since the demand is close to nil) Had the roll been unopened, you probably would had got a small premium over melt for them. Canadian '65 and '66 10c are like '64 dimes in the US - large mintage, so little if any premium unless in super-MS grades.
Dockwalliper
But worth more than the $5 it cost you.
Blackhawk
If they have nice strikes and you can see a seperation in the horizantal bands that cross the torch on the reverse, they have a premium.

Are these Canadian or US Dimes? I assumed it was Canadian as its posted on this thread.
