Except as May be Expressly Provided In G.R.Os. It Must in no Circumstances be offered to any person who is not entitled to use British service canteens.Improper Use Of this note Is a disciplinary offefence and may Render the offender liable to penaltes" G.R.O Means Genenal Register office Also on the Front Under The One Pound Second Series Is The statement Issued By the Command of the army Council The Printer of the Note is Thomas De La Rue & Company.
