2coins
Hi all, After being out of the hobbie for a few years and getting back into it, I ve decided to go with a type set, one of each US coin made! or as close too......I love all coins but will build this set in stead of a whole collection of pennys or silver dollars lets say,When a type set is displayed (RAW) in a nice display case, it is something to behold!!!!!!!just my 2 cents. SquirrelNuts
I agree 100%. I get bored very easily, and I am not so sure that collecting by date is really for me. I am trying to become creative with some type set ideas. Good choice. -Robert
Guest Stujoe
Type sets are way cool, IMO. I totally agree that they are one of the most impressive sets you can put together. If I had my way, though, I would be the second coming of Eliasberg...one of everything ever made.
AuldFartte
Type Sets are, IMO, the only way to go - I'm doing several including a new U.S. set (just restarting - sold the old one), British Victorian, British George IV, Australia and Canada. I'm sure I'll add more later. Enjoy !!!
Burks
I just started my type set. I just added a nice Barber half to it today. Doing a type set is much more fun than dates. Maybe later on dates will become really fun.
