tabbs
This "movie" (actually a Macromedia Flash presentation) shows the collector coins issued by Germany this year: http://www.mdm.de/shop/media/smb/main.swf It presents the 2005 issues, along with some music and background pictures. Note that the "Bertha von Suttner" coin has not been issued yet - that one will come out in about four weeks (3 Nov). The movie does not really provide any info on the pieces, but you can view them, and see a (text only) list of issues planned for next year. geordie582
Great presentation, but, as you say, lacking detail or price. The coins didn't stay on screen long enough to allow assessment.
tabbs
Great presentation, but, as you say, lacking detail or price. The coins didn't stay on screen long enough to allow assessment. If you want to view one of the coins, you can pause the Flash presentation by right-clicking, or whatever you do to get the context menu. (At least that works for me.) Another option to view the coins is this page: http://www.bwpv.de/eng/aboutus.php3?iid=227 (English language version; click on "further information" to get a bigger picture and some info about the selected coin) It's just that the images at the BWPV site are not as nice as in the "movie" ... As for the price, well, that is easy - a €10 coin costs 10 euro. The prooflike version is more expensive (15 euro), and this year's gold coin was 222 euro.
