Lets see some World coppers!!!!

I know there is a forum for U.S. coppers, but most of us love them all.

The only rule is that the coin you post must be yours!!!!

Age doesn't matter, it can be old or new. And for those of you that don't know, yes the U.S. is part of the World.

Here is one of mine to get us started: 1919 Great Britian penny

Not really copper -- but it has a nice brass center.

Brass 3 pence -- I really like these coins. Nice feel. Nice size. Nice design. I do prefer the 3 pence silvers though.

Copper, got 'em:

Probably the largest numismatic item ever circulated in Britain - this token hefts in at 2.5 ounces. The piece would not have been possible but for Matthew Boulton's huge steam powered coin presses. Birmingham and Matthew Boulton even toyed with the idea of minting copper sixpence tokens that would have weighed 5 ounces - they did do a few trial strikes but decided to just mint more of the 3 pence pieces instead. I would really love to find one of the tanners for my collection to add to my mini hoard of three pences.
