Corwin
This looks like 2 overstrike, and seller also say it is. Is this normal? i will maybe buy it. ~ Corwin
gxseries
Definitely overstruck over 1723-1730 5 kopek. You can see part of the cross on top of the crown in the second photo.
alexbq2
You can also see the date 1756 from the baroque 1 kopeek. I would advice not to pay too much.
one-kuna
i wouldnot advise to buy it in such low condition
gxseries
I wouldn't mind buying it if the price is right. It's not that easy to find double overstruck coins especially if the year is visible for all three strikes. I'm looking for a triple overstrike, which in theory can happen but I've only seen one here.
Corwin
He is asking approx 150$ for it...
gxseries
Quite high for it but again, try looking for another double overstruck coin. You might be able to find it if you spend the time and effort. Here's mine:
one-kuna
i agree with gxseries - $150 is a high for this piece
alexbq2
If you find a coin like this in solid VF with great looking natural patina, then spending $150 would not bee too extravagant. For the coin here, which is corroded and cleaned I would not recommend paying more than $15.
one-kuna
visual triple dates attracts collectors anyway
Corwin
Auction for this coin ended yesterday, it did not sell or get any bid at all. He was asking a starting price at 142$. Thanks for all advice, I would have bought it if it wasn't for these advice. I will try to look for a nicer with not so high price.
