  1. Haha, Clearly SPM, But it even says EM on the grading I would also like to have some gradings after MY choice of year and mint, hehe At the same time.. I had a bigger problem with this trader this summer after i sold my coronation ruble to him/her this. But that is off topic
  2. I have listed this for sale at eBay with reserve price. but are still open for bid if anyone are interested. ~Corwin
  3. I have asked for a reverse photo and will upload this when (if) possible.
  4. Is this a Avesta coin? This is very strange, looks like Avesta but year 1766. Does anyone have any kind of information on this coin? ~Corwin
  5. Is it the 5 coin set (weight 15,55)? I found a seller in Moscow asking price 183000 Ruble (5600USD).. Notice, this is not sold, but what he is asking for with buy it now price.
  6. What do you base that on? It is vf/xf and have nice details.. the pictures may not be so very accurate because of the light, Yes, it does have the nicks you mentioned earlier, but still very gradable. Others with VF-XF details have been sold for 2000-3500 dollar the past year. (this one sold twice for 1100-1250)
  7. I took this problem to eBay customer service and i was explained the same (and that this is a ongoing problem for many sellers). That the only insurance seller have is to use this Unpaid Item assistant. Like you said, if a buyer got some/more of these, eBay looks into their account and possibly block them out or suspend their buying privileges if this is a continuous problem. I was suggested to re-list the coin for the third time, and use this assistant if the problem happens again. The ruble was re-listed today.. This time with a more excessive terms section on top. Like you said 3rd time's the charm, so let's hope it works out this time Listing can be seen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300741155803#ht_4815wt_1139 Thanks for advice and help! ~ Corwin
  8. Anyone interested to give a reasonable price for this nice coin? I paid 2500$ for it some years ago
  9. I know it is possible to open a case after 5 days or so, but that is only helping to get back the insertion fee after eBay have reviewed the case, or if the buyer does not reply to messages. I think i will have to write a letter to eBay about this and see what they have to say. Like said earlier eBay states (like every other auction) that when you are bidding you are committing to buy the item, so i wonder what kind of solutions they have for this kind of problems.. To sad with people selling counterfeit, eBay have a strict policy about this (new policy update last month where no counterfeit is allowed at all, even if stated as fake!), but it is of course not possible to be aware 100% of the time. The seller you've linked to also have negative feedback for selling a fake 1756 gold ruble some days ago.
  10. I always require payment within 5 days.. First time sold (May 22.) I had to cancel the transaction after approximately 10 days. No given reason from buyer except problems with funds and Paypal and that he was not able to pay for it at that time, and that if i wanted we could cancel. We canceled and the buyer was blocked after this. Tried to sell with second chance offer to next highest bidder (1 day offer) but did not sell. I relisted it 16th of June and it sold 7 days later on the 23th for 1273$. (50$ less) Got message from buyer yesterday: - "Today I was check my bank account and I have no enough money. Therefore I would like to cancel this deal. Really sorry!!! " Again i offered second chance to next highest bidder but did not sell when it ended 3-4 hours ago. I have sold for many years on eBay, but have never been having so much problem with the same item. Does anyone have any suggestion to how sellers can assure a safe sale? I have of course blocked both buyers and told them never to bid on anything they do not intend to buy, but what other insurance is there really for the sellers? My opinion is that eBay is getting more and more the buyers market and that they are given the sellers bad privileges (not possible to write bad feedback etc.)
  11. Hehe.. That was my sale. I was wondering about forums opinion around this coin because i have sold it twice (same coin) on eBay now for the last month.. but both times the buyers have not wanted to pay (did not have money to pay) and i have either relisted it or tried to sell it through second chance offer. It is not cleaned at all and have very nice details, but its rather my bad experience taking pictures. Photos on eBay are the same as shown here, were the first photo is taken with blitz (therefore the "glossy/cleaned" effect) Does anyone have any suggestion to how i can ensure a sale or receiving payment from the highest bidders? I know that when you are winning a auction you are committed to buy the item, but what to do when the buyer claims he don't have money? I will probably wait some time now before i relist it.
  12. I was wondering what you guys thought about appraisal of this coin It is a 1 Rouble 1913 with XF details. ~Corwin

  14. Hi again forum. I just found this Denga coin for sale: Russia (empire) Anna 1 Denga Strike error - double strike off center. Seller says:"This kind of error is extremely rare. The two double strike are off center" Is this error on this Denga "Extremely" rare? Like the seller are claiming? Since i am a fan of specialties and also collector of double strike copper coins i am thinking about maybe buying this to. Seller is asking for a starting price 390$ ~ Corwin
  15. Very good guess one-kuna, I bought it for 2500$ - not over, not under.
  16. Auction for this coin ended yesterday, it did not sell or get any bid at all. He was asking a starting price at 142$. Thanks for all advice, I would have bought it if it wasn't for these advice. I will try to look for a nicer with not so high price.
  17. This coin was sold by a 90 year old American man here in Norway, and i got it from him for 1200 Norwegian kroner, approximately 200 USD
  18. Eagle side: Picture is also a little out of focus. I am still learning on how to make good pictures of the coins. Details are a little more visible on this picture taken with blitz
  19. He is asking approx 150$ for it...
  20. Yes, of course it is. My mistake Got a little confused when i was posting so many posts at once.
