Corwin
Hi fellow collectors. My first post on this forum I bought a lot of 2 coins some time ago. These two coins are: 1 Ruble 1906 and 1 ruble 1915 Do somebody know if this two are original? In Bitkin these coins is produced with inscription on the edge, but are they also produced with smooth edge without any inscription? ~ Corwin
gxseries
Looks like copies. I don't think I need to ask if they are magnetic and what the weight of the coins are...

Weight is 19.6 (but my weight is not accurate calibrated) and there are no magnetism.
gxseries
I think they are supposed to weight 20.0g, not much less. Tolerance level is in terms of +-0.05g so I am suspecting something. The figures are coming off the top of my head so I can be a bit off. I'm still not convinced that they are genuine. May I ask where they came from? May I ask where they came from? Okey, i will check the correct weight when i get my scale calibrated. They were bought from an (antique) auction house in United Kingdom. Corwin
But for my other question.. Do anyone know if they are produced with smooth edge without any inscription? In the same lot, i bought an 1890 1 rub (probably also fake then) but that one had an inscription like this: Shouldn't the 1906 and 1915 have inscription someway like this? Do not find anything regarding smooth inscription (for the 1906/1915) in my books. ~C
