Does anyone have information of the mintage of these coins, Have looked in all the books but, its unrecorded. Does this mean there could be only the one or a million?. Thanks.

Is it possible to show the reverse of this William IV coin? It looks like it could be a farthing or a smaller variation thereof.

Your coin is listed as KM 721 under Great Britain. Even though it was issued for use on Malta it is a British type and is listed there. There should be a foot note to that effect in the Malta listings but the entire country listing for Malta was left out of the 19th Century SCWC 5th edition. Since only British coins were used on Malta at the time a heading in SCWC of Malta see Great Britain would save some confusion.

The 3rd farthings are not classed as rare but are certainly scarcer than the farthings of William IV, they are listed in spink but mintage figures are not given, I would guess it would be over a million though. Here is mine, it is guilded though.
