jtryka
At long last, here are the images, looks like the mint did a pretty good job (though there are inconsistencies between leaving only 46 stars on the obverse like the 1907, but adding the motto like the low relief coins of 1908). Enjoy:
thedeadpoint
I just read about a bill supposedly passing for a coin like that but I heard the bill was labelled in such a way so you thought one of these was going to be mde but instead its really passing legislation for palladium coins. i don't understand what I just typed. I'll quote the article later.

Vfox
So if this is the final design, how large will it be? These are supposed to be 1/10 or 1/4 oz gold correct? I would imagine the panama pill as a good estimate if that is the case, lol.
jtryka
The coin is designed after the double thick pattern in the Smithsonian, so it will contain 1-ounce of .999 fine gold, 27mm in diameter (same as an eagle, not the 34 mm like a regular double eagle) and approx. 4 mm thick. There will be no other sizes, this is technically a $20 commemorative, not a bullion coin.
