RW Julian
Several sellers have 1833 roubles for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=160254312325 So far, all seen have listed the pieces as copies but how long before silver strikes are made without this sort of marking? alexbq2
I believe that these are cast coins, I have been seeing them throughout the last year. This seller does indicate that they are replicas, and his coins are stamped as "COPY", but I believe others were not. If you recall there was a post about a wide rimmed rouble some months ago, imho from the same manufacturer.
grivna1726
...how long before silver strikes are made without this sort of marking? RWJ Very soon, I imagine. But whenever that time might be, my guess is that they will almost certainly be sold through ebay.
gxseries
Wasn't there a counterfeit of a common dated 15 kopek coin made as well?
Vfox
These coins are struck from dies just like most of the coins coming from China lately. The bad part is not every seller sells them as fakes.
alexbq2
Here's one without any countermark: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=150266120738
