Squirrel, I do have most of the prices realized (unless it's Alexander III or Nicholas II...I left at that point) so I can let you know if there's something you're looking for.

 

I will say that the auction room was the most full I've seen it in several years...it was packed. There's certainly interest right now.

I must have struck out. I forgot to tune in online, but i assume i would have received an email if i had won any lots. :ninja:

I just checked the site, but couldnt find prices realized. ;) ;)

For nice coins the prices strong, double or triple.... Bagees and geton was strong lot 2216 USSR SOVIET ORDERS Order of Lenin ‘Gold head’ with Orders Book. Type 2. Award # 801. Early screwback

Estimate: 15,000.00. Sold$150,000.00+15%...

The prices realized are now up at http://www.russian-coins.net.

Also, the online catalog at http://www.sixbid.com has been extended to include the hammer price of each lot.

 

Although some lots -- such as the Catherine II "Pugachev" rouble, for example -- brought high prices, I found that in general the prices weren't as "crazy" as they have been in some other auctions. Many items went for less than the estimate, or didn't sell. Maybe there are better times coming now for collectors?
