gxseries Posted June 26, 2007 Report Share Posted June 26, 2007 Not a lot really - they are worth at least their copper value and any coins minted after 1966 is just worth their face value / copper value. The earlier ones are perhaps just 20 Aus cents ish. The london ones are far superior strikes 1958 large cent - Called Penny (Perth and Melb) - both about same value 10 in EF and 45 in Unc All the following are the new decimal coinage from 1966 and only have value as full red B-Uncs 1967 cent - Melbourne issue $7 in B-Unc 1978 cent - 2 to 3 bucks 4x1979 cent - 2 to 3 2x1974=2cent - 3 to 4 bucks 1979=2cent - 2 to 3 1982=2cent - 2 to 4 (unc 2, Choice 3, Gem 4 or specimen from Set 4) 1983=2cent - 2 to 4 (unc 2, Choice 3, Gem 4 or specimen from Set 4) 1984=2cent - 2 to 4 (unc 2, Choice 3, Gem 4 or specimen from Set 4) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
