gxseries
I have been trying to look for St. Petersburg Mint via Google Earth and geez, this is tougher than I thought! Is St. Petersburg located on the Peter and Paul Fortress or somewhere else? Also, are other non-existent mints visible in Google Earth? I managed to find Moscow Mint easily though. banivechi
"muzeu alba iulia" lat=46.069539, lon=23.57151 Not sure if that is the exactly building, but around there must be the Karlsburg mint (E letter for Austrian coins or GyF for Hungarian ones) It is Transylvanian city of Alba Iulia (citadel) there (Karlsburg in German language or Gyulafehervar in Hungarian). I will try these days to obtain a touristic map with pointer to the mint building... Until then enjoy the satellite wiew of this amazing medieval city. Scottishmoney
At least the Dutch mint in Utrecht is easy to find, from the air and ground.
