Mister Ed
Was going through my change and found a 2000 New Hampshire quarter with no mint mark. The area where the mint mark should be looks different as if the area "splatter" with a very slight increase in relief. Can anyone tell me what caused this or if anyone else has found New Hamphire quarters without a mint mark as well? Thanks! Ed

LostDutchman
I have had several quarters like this... all of the ones I have seen have had a strike through around the mintmark. A blob of grease or something else can obstruct the mintmark being struck onto the coin...
